盛り上がる明石の町/ Bustling Akashi city
海が好きですかー？
シーフードが好きですかー？
きれいな景色が好きですかー？
じゃ、明石市に来てみてください。
Do you like sea?
Do you like seafood?
Do you like beautiful view!?
If yes for all questions, you should come to Akashi-city!!
実は私学生時代18歳までを明石市で過ごしました。
明石には小さいながら港もあって、
魚の棚という市場があるんです。
そして、最近は人口が過去最多に増えている、
住みやすい町としてもよくメディアで取り上げられています。
I had been living in Akashi city when I was school girl.
(You cannot imagine my school girl figure? Don't worry, me neither!)
Akashi has small seaport and fresh market and it's very close to Akashi station.
Not only being a good sightseeing place,
but also population in Akashi is increasing since 2013.
So Akashi is getting to be known as "Livable City".
さて、昨日は美味しいランチとスイーツを食べに行こう！と、
明石駅の近くを散策してみました。
それでは、まずは魚の棚の活気をご覧ください。
I went out to have delicious local food in Akashi yesterday.
I would like to share a video of Uontana market.
お腹が空いてきましたか。
Are you getting hungry?
さて、私たちは当初「明石焼き」を食べる予定だったのですが、
長蛇(ちょうだ）の列を待ちきれず、
明石蛸（たこ）と穴子（あなご）を楽しむことができる「喜楽」で、
食事をしました。
おいしそうでしょう？
We were supposed to have "Akashi yaki" which is signature food of Akashi.
But there were so many people in a queue in front of any Akashi yaki restaurants already (because it was Sunday),
so we went to restaurant "Kiraku" to enjoy octopus cuisine.
Don't you think it looks so yummy?!
さて、お腹がいっぱいになったら、お買い物です。
私はお土産（みやげ）にお煎餅（せんべい）と草履（ぞうり）を買いました。
After satisfying my stomach, the only thing to do is....shopping!
I found very cute Japanese egg cookies and Japanese traditional footwear "Zori".
歩き疲れたら…、もちろんコーヒータイムですね。
「野菜食堂めぐみカフェ」という海沿いにあるかわいいカフェで、
無花果（いちじく）のタルトとカフェオレをいただきました。
明石はおいしい無花果も生産されているんですよ。
After shopping, I needed coffee and sweets!
I found a cute and cozy cafe near the sea.
"Megumi Cafe" serves local vegetable dishes.
They also have seasonal fruits sweets.
I chose fig tart and cafe latte.
Akashi produces delicious fig too.
またこのカフェの隣（となり）には、
フェリー乗り場があります。
ここから船に乗るとたった13分で、
私の大好きな淡路島に行くことができるんです。
By the way this cute and healthy style cafe is located at next to a ferry landing.
If you take a ferry from this landing, you can reach to Awaji island in 13 minutes!!
Wow!!
さて、明石ってどこにあるの？って気になりませんか。
実は、神戸から電車で15分のところにあるんですよ。
大阪からでも電車で約４０分です。
関西にくるならば、是非足をのばして来てほしいところです。
SO! Are you interesting in visiting Akashi?
I will tell you how Akashi is close from Kobe and Osaka.
It's just 30 minutes from Kobe and about 40 minutes from Osaka by train.
If you come to Kansai area, please make a little side trip to Akashi.
